Mon, 24 April 2006 Funny how the music business can sound just like "monkey business."
Seems the music making monkeys are taking control of their music and
the money making monkeys don't like the bananas they are left with. We
play the following songs over a bed of verbal prose imagery and some
song lyrics. Famous comment on Music Biz: The music business is a cruel and shallow money
trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and
good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side. Hunter S. Thompson Comments[2] |
Thu, 20 April 2006 In fact it was Taichung but Seattle is probably th closest US city to
here. We played episode 3 of the "eX-Wife files" our original audio
fiction series. Mention PodioBooks.com, Jack, Aron Michalski and Jack Mangan. Play 2 promos, some new music and skidaddle. Comments[1] |
Tue, 18 April 2006 Yes lovers of good audio books and literature, it's true. Todays FC News offers interview with PodioBooks.com co-founders Tee Morris and Chris Miller.I talk with them seperately on their roles and experiences in starting PB.com. We play several CC songs with 3 of them from Magnatunes.com
which is one cool label and provides it's artists with half of the
income from sales. Similar to what PB.Com does with it's authors on
received donations. Comments[1] |
Sun, 16 April 2006 Today's MindField will take you on a journey that includes :Easter Bunnies, Jesus, Spring, Rain, Flowers and new life. Comments[15] |
Thu, 13 April 2006 Episode 2 of the "eX-Wife Files" is played four your listening
pleasure. Today's SongStory is all about the old "noggin." Using it,
working with it and without it, but hopefully not losing it. Of course
we reole out the heavy artillery off songs from a bevy of international
podsafe bands. Oh yeah! Thanks to Paul the Balticonning ADDFisch for the skype props. Will have a nifty Free Culture News interview program next week with Tee "24" Morris and Chris "Code Shaman" Miller talking about the good stuff happening over at Podiobooks.com. You say what no Evo Terra-hey none of us could handle that triple-threat. For all of you Free Culture fans patient;ly waiting we'll have some new shows going real soon with assistance from the Illudium guy- Ed Gadget, er.. Hugh Brackett helping out. Comments[1] |
Mon, 10 April 2006 Today we continue with tear a page out of the dictionary theme. Let's
just stick with "G" for groovy, as in all the groovy music that's
included. Share a few more personal anecdotes-how I got into music,
etc. Hope y'all dig it. We were invited to join the Arts.Bloglist so check out some of the cool blogs and podcasts over there. Comments[1] |
Sun, 9 April 2006 Yes, I'm standing here with my gold ultra-deluxe tritium foil hat
on-giving you a list of predictions that were full of hubris and
completely erroneous. Layered in and around this are the latest in
cutting edge songs for the 3D listener. We at MindField endeavor to do
stuff we find interesting, because we like doing that. We strenuously
do not object to you liking it too. Comments[0] |

Tue, 4 April 2006 This is the holiday celebrated here to honor the "previous inhabitants
of the planet", those "dearly departed." Put that in your MindFields
and listen. I promise the music is very uplifting. Comments[0] |
